Explore the Beauty of the
Bohemian-Saxon Switzerland!

Straddling the Czech-Saxon border, the youngest of the Czechia’s four national parks is a true island of virgin nature in the heart of Europe. This surviving nook of wilderness has been drawing tourists, poets and artists for nearly two centuries, not only for its spectacular beauty but also for its easy accessibility.

Be ready to enter an ancient mountain realm, carved by cliffs, deep canyons and wild gorges, with volcanic hills and soaring sandstone rock formations standing on silent patrol above the forested landscape of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains.

Krizovy Vrch

For our after dinner mint, we will be taking in a beautiful 360° view of the landscape lying at the foot of Krizovy Vrch - a treeless hill standing in the middle of Bohemian Switzerland. There’s no such reward as having a sunset photoshoot for a dessert.

Zirkelstein

We’ll rise and shine to a dramatic view of the Kamenice River Valley, cliffs of Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland and Lusatian Mountains silently patrolling the landscape around only to be had from Zirkelstein, a small table mountain in Saxon Switzerland.

Bastei

Sunrise, sunrise… looks like morning in your lens... through which you will be capturing this awesome landmark. Towering 194 metres above the Elbe River, the jagged rock formation of Bastei is one of the most prominent lookout points of Saxon Switzerland that will treat you to an incredibly sweeping view of its surroundings.

Gorges of River Kamenice

During the day we’ll go on a field trip of the River Kamenice. Gorging on the views, we’ll be capturing the flow of its waters that run deep below the sandstone cliffs of Bohemian Switzerland.

Schrammsteine

The sunset will belong to another jagged rock formation towering high above the Elbe River in Saxon Switzerland - this time, the chain on rocks provides what are probably the most stunning views in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains.

Vileminina Stena

We’ll be catching the sunrise from this formation; a great vantage point offering one of the most breathtaking vistas of the village of Jetrichovice and the landmark of Ruzovsky hill (Rosy hill) in the background. Wilhelmina’s cliff is simply an each way bet and place fit for saying our last goodbyes to Bohemian Switzerland.

Digital camera (i.e. DSLR or mirrorless camera) with wide angle lenses and telephoto lenses - you will need at least 200mm focal length, anything “longer” than that will give you more options and flexibility on the visited locations. Sturdy and stable tripod is a MUST and a remote shutter release for tack sharp pictures. Neutral density and polarizer filters (if you have any) will come in handy, too.

We strongly recommend you pack up some good sturdy boots and a waterproof raincoat with you. It really can get freezing cold, especially early in the mornings.

Elbe Sandstone Mountains is a hilly terrain where the greatest photo spots require moderate hiking, but it’ll always be conditioned by the shape of the other attendees, but there are spots easily reachable from the car as well

We prioritize the comfort of our guests and therefore all of our tours are designed for single occupancy.

The minimum number of attendees on this photo tour is 4.

The maximum number of attendees is 7 attendees per tour.

In that case, it’s up to us to decide whether we want to organize the photo tour anyways, and we’ll update you shortly. In case we decide to not go through with the tour, we’ll return you the money paid in the tour account asap.

The tour itinerary is set within the tour program as the basic outline but it may vary depending on the weather conditions. We’re trying hard to deliver you the best experience according to the actual situation. The tour itinerary is only set as the basic outline of the tour - it is not hardwired into the program because it largely depends on the weather conditions. It is in our best interest to try hard and deliver the best experience, in fair and foul weather, according to the situation we are facing.

First, you book the tour via the booking form linked from the detail page of the particular photo tour. As soon as we receive your booking request, we’ll let you know whether your booking was confirmed. Once you obtain the booking confirmation with all the photo tour details, you’ll also receive payment details to make the advance payment or full payment in case the start of the photo tour is too close. The advance payment should be made within 7 days, while the full payment should be made asap. After receiving your payment, you’re officially signed up for the tour. And finally, if you made advance payment, you should cover the remaining balance no longer than 30 days before the photo tour starts.

As of now, we only provide our customers with wire transfer option, but are planning to also accept card payments in the near future. Unfortunately, we’re not planning to include PayPal.

If you decide to cancel the trip, you may be charged depending on the following rules:

within a period of more than thirty calendar days prior to the beginning of the trip: in the amount of the advance payment
within the period of thirty to fifteen calendar days prior to the beginning of the trip: in the amount of 50% of the trip price
within the period of fourteen to eight calendar days prior to the beginning of the trip: in the amount of 75% of the trip price
within the period of seven and less calendar days prior to the beginning of the trip: in the amount of 100% of the trip price.

Please note that the date when the cancellation takes effect shall be decisive for the calculation of the cancellation fee.

The photo tours are in English to accommodate the universal participant in you.
